I am an applied microeconomist and research leader who studies topics in education and labor markets. I am currently a senior researcher at Ithaka S+R, leading research and evaluation projects related to postsecondary access, equity, and success in the United States.
Previously, I led education research projects at the New York City Department of Education and Oxford Policy Management Limited. Before that, I supported public financial management reforms as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow at the South Sudan Ministry of Finance, and analyzed financial markets data to inform monetary policy decisions at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
I hold a PhD in economics and education from Columbia University, where my research focused on access to education and labor market opportunities in low- and middle-income countries. I also hold a master’s degree in economics from the University of Warwick and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Covenant University.
